Wellness Education is community-based programming that runs concurrently with the other four divisions of JPWC. This programming is designed to be strength-based and meet the needs presented by community members. Over the last 12 years of work in the community, JPWC has found that isolation, literacy, and grief management are three of the most prominent needs of vulnerable, low-income Edmontonians. JPWC has set programs and drop-in opportunities to encourage safe and positive interaction and independent growth, such as self-confidence. Forms-4-U, Art Drop-in, and Family group are the three programs with the highest attendance and positive feedback from clients.
